  1. Normally I would not comment on personal interest posts such as this, but I am compelled to by a desire to read more of your truly heartfelt posts.

It would be a real shame to starve this blog to death, and a sin to let your burgeoning writing talent do to waste on modern forms of writing, lest you let your talent for long hand go to waste...

Here's to sunny skies, and light assignments (hopefully your profs aren't the ones holding you back from posting due to over loading on homework and projects)...

    Take this song in any context you'd like;

    Paul Brandt's Together Again:

I’m just a man on this spinning globe
    Who am I?
    What do I know?
But I’ve got a feeling that even when the music ends
    Goodbye doesn’t say it all
There’s another play when the curtain falls
Were all rehearsing for forever but until then

    Whoah...oh..oh
    I guess,
That’s just the way this old world works,
Moments of heaven mixed with moments of hurt,
I’ll be waiting till we are together again
Every things falling apart right now
But with all of the hope that my faith allows
I’ll be waiting till we are together again

The time we had was touched by God,
and I’m thankful but I had a thought.
I wondered why something so perfect ever has to end?
I fall and pray and screamed out loud
But the silence never told me how
How to keep on living till we are together again

    Whoah...oh..oh
    I guess,
That’s just the way this old world works
Moments of heaven mixed with moments of hurt
I’ll be waiting till we are together again
Every things falling apart right now
But with all of the hope that my faith allows
I’ll be waiting till we are together again
I’ll be waiting till we are together again
I’ll be waiting till we are together again

And a personal favourite, (if you ever get that gnawing urge to explore all that the musical sphere has to offer, take a look at country, it can make you smile, make you cry, make you ponder and remember, truly a blessing from God) George Strait's "Go On":

I'm so sorry, I keep interrupting, what were you gonna say?
You caught him cheatin', I don't blame you for walkin' away.
I know where you're comin' from, it sounds like where I've been
Oh, there I go interrupting your story once again

Go on, go on, you were sayin' how a fool can only fool you so long,
It's true, it's so true. when they do you like that,
What else you can do but go on.

Our conversation won't change nothin', but it's sure nice to talk,
With somebody who's been cut out of the same ol' cloth,
You know how you said happiness can't be found lookin' back
If you don't mind, maybe we can talk a little more about that.

Go on, go on, you were sayin' this is better than sittin' at home
It's true, it's so true, when they do you like that
What else can you do but go on...

Even when you see no reason to,
Don't wait to live life 'cause it won't wait for you.

Go on, please go on, you were sayin' what don't kill us only makes us strong,
It's true, that's so true, when they do you like that
What else can you do but go on.

    Just go on.
    Life goes on... and on.

Keep searching for the greater meaning in all you see and those you meet.

    Sincerely,
Your faithful reader (hopefully in the future as well, keep writing ;) )

  2. Dear Ignatious,

First off, I apologize that I haven't posted up any written entries in a very long time. Everything has been extremely hectic, and writing for leisure honestly hasn't been at the top of my priority list. I'm actually very surprised and flattered, but also very thankful, that you still continue to check up on my blog.

I don't know when I'll be able to find the time to blog again, but I do hope to be able to soon.

Thank you again for your constant support :) Hope life is treating you well!

  3. I would like to apologize, for some reason or another, I tried to post a comment yesterday, and it was either deleted, or disappeared... C'est la vie, the vagaries of the internet...

Although I rather liked the comment, it was quite passionate, and I hoped it would be of inspiration to you to continue your writing.

I then tried to later post a very much paraphrased version of it, although it seemed insincere, it got most of the point across that I was trying to originally make, although I may have left out a few things - my memory isn't as good as it used to be...

Of course that one disappeared as well...

I was hoping that you might have some sort of notification system where you would be notified when a new comment was left, and potentially that you would be able to read the content of said comment before checking your blog. If that is true, and I hope it is, I hope you enjoyed what you read. If not, once again c'est la vie. Maybe another time I can try to rewrite it, just keep writing yourself so I don't have to push you too hard ;).

    Sincerely,
    Your faithful reader

Notre Bene: I've had to change my accounts and get a new account so I can comment here, seems odd that the old Open ID system will no longer let me comment. Once again c'est la vie...

  4. Oh my, it has been a while since I last checked this blog! I'm incredibly sorry... Second semester was extremely busy and the dance season was hectic beyond belief. But now that the dance season is over and I'm on summer break, I hope to be able to start blogging again soon.

For the meantime... Here's a few blogs that I recommend reading/following:

    empowering-the-soul.tumblr.com
    happinessconduit.wordpress.com

I hope you find the things that these writers have to say to be fulfilling and true :)
